The Riparian Areas Protection Regulation (RAPR) applies to many developments along the coastal and interior regions of British Columbia.  Local Government bylaws trigger the RAPR; often by way of Environmental Development Permit Areas, subdivision, rezoning, tree removal bylaws, soil removal bylaws, and more.
